it's a mobile chip. they tend to have different specs to the desktop chips.
i'm not to sure what core it uses now.
could be tualatin, could be northwood? (it uses a 0.13 micron process.)
but i can tell you that there *may* be a slim chance that it will work in a desktop mobo.
but it depends on a few things.
firstly it depends on which 1.13 cpu you have.
one of the three 1.13 m-PIII chips made uses the same socket as the P4. (478-PPGA FCPGA2)
i don't know too much about laptops, but it would also depend on if the cpu is actually removable or not.
if the laptop is still under warranty, and i imagine it would be, you're probably better off not ripping it apart just yet.
