How many of you run 1003 bios with 2 sticks of PC2100/1600 ram on A7A ??? IF yes, do you have any problems ? where your Windows would Crush after a while, or you use programs that use a lot of memory and after a while they crush as well.

I really need to know..... My system is VERY unstable with 2 sticks of 2100 ddr ram . I need to locate the Cause... Everything works fine with 1 stick of ram... I reinstalled everything at least 5 times... Now I use win 2Kpro , same problem ........

The ram is GOOD.... I think the 1003 BIOS may cause the problem.. I NEED YOUR HELP PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I fixed it. My problems were coused by BIOS 1003 .. I upgraded my BIos to 1004 and everything seems to work fine so far.. I no longer get errors while playing UT with 2 x 256 mb PC2100 . I will test my system for the next few days.. I will tell you later if everything is stable

Yikes your stories are making me consider a different mobo, I was strongly considering this mobo, anyone else have problems with it???

The only problems i have had with the board were when i was using bios 1003 or lower 1004 is working great. And ASUS put a resistor to damn close to the Cpu socket and I broke it off with the HSF clip and caused to board to not post. But othere wise I just love it.
