I just received my WC stuff today and I'm excited to put it all together. I have a question about the shrouds though. I got a DTEK rad/ 2 shrouds. They come with long threaded rods. It is ok to just push those throught the fins (might bend stuff a little) and out the other side to attach the shrouds/fans? There are no side tabs, so this seems to be the only way to do it.

Thanks!

Yes that is the way to do it. Just push the rods through gently and slowly, it is ok to bend some of the fins, you just don't want to puncture any of the coils in the rad. This pic might help.

That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the quick reply.

Two more quick questions:

1) The output on the Eheim 1250 seems very small for the 1/2" tygon. Is it fine as long as I use a hose clamp?

2) Typically with the Maze3, which way do you want the water flowing through it?

the output on the 1250 is 1/2" so the tygon will fit perfectly but still use clamps. the center barb is the inlet on the maze3.
