I havent installed the pump yet, but i leaktested it with just it and a power supply running and the pump does rattle arround a bit. Once i turned on my Evercool 120mm Aluminium fan, the fan quickly got noiser than the pump, but still, it's not silent.

I hear the Eheim 1250 is completely silent if you mount it on a foam pad. So the Eheim 1250 gets my vote.

But a good blend between noise and power is definately the MCP600. I hear the rev.2 S model is very reliable and dependable. Although flow rate isnt as high as the Eheim at 0 head, the MCP600 quickly overtakes the Eheim on flow once the pressure starts to mount.
