R9 390 Gigabyte Issues?

Hello everyone! Today I'm here needing help. I have a 390 by Gigabyte and I've been having troubles running gta 5 recently for no reason. One day I was able to play it perfectly fine, and now it lags super badly. I was also thinking about overclocking it, if you can help me with any of those things (this is called overclocking forums so I assume y'all can help with oc), anyways, thanks for reading and I hope we can solve this! thanks.

Welcome!. Did you make any changes to the settings of the game? Or optimize? This would cause the symptoms you are describing.

First, it was all maxed out, and every so often I would drop to unplayable. So I dropped them to high, and it was fine. During the snow, I couldn't play at all. I dropped down the lowest and I still couldn't play.
