Not much difference.

3DM03 is mainly a GPU bench. CPU, RAM, and FSB width have little to do w/ overall performance of this particular bench....as it pretty much just tests the GPU:)

hmm?

but when i put my 1.3 duron in from my ahtlon xp 2400+ i lost 300 marks

I guess I don't consider 300 points very much when your talking about doubling your cpu speed in a benchmark who's score is upwards of 4,500 points:)

In any case, yes, you will see a marginal increase in 3Dm03... nothing like you'd see in 3DM01, but a small increase nonetheless

To put it in perspective, you would acheive a higher score in the DURON rig if you just overclocked the graphics card, in comparison to the XP2400 and R9800 running stock.

If a higher 3Dm03 score is your goal, overlcoking the GPU will give you *much* better results than an CPU upgrade:)
