Hi,
I've been having some probs with increasing temps.
Originally I was in the mid 30's C loaded. -after playing my fav game.
Now I am in the low 40'sC and the system is starting to lock up on me.
I first thought it was the memory crapping out on me.
Then possibly the HHD, I ran several checks on each, notta. Cleaned some dog hair from the rad and blew the sys out really good.
Still in the low 40's - loaded.
Even my idle temps are higher. (35C)
:(
I have reseated the H2O block and shimmed it to increase spring pressure on the core also.
And reapplied AS2 to it.
I was thinking of installing a 2nd
120mm fan up front to add to the air flow.
I have 1 now on a rehostate. :D
Any ideas on this?

Thanks.

Ive found that air restrictive heatercores benefit greatly from a push and pull fan system with shrouds.

My current system has two 4" shrouds each side with 2 120mm fans at 7v on each side.

Pulling fans need a shroud or they end up stalled.

I have the 120mm fan set 3/4" off the back, pulling, with a shroud.
It is mounted on a 8" x 5" x 3/4" thick rad.

What are your temps with 2 120's ?

I am also using a WW mix.

Thanks.
