Ok Best Buy has the 128 ddr LE for $199. The clock is 250/250 I beleive. Is this the same as an oem 64mb and a retail having different clocks or is the card different?

I have one. I love it, its running at 290/290 ! ! ! Fun Fun, and I paid less than most pay for their non-LEs.

I was in a crunch so I bought it from Best Buy. HEH

Thanks buddy I'm gonna be watercooling and put ram sinks so hopefully I can break 300/300:D

I dont think it is neccisary to WC a Radeon 8500, they run relitively cool, I would install ramsinks and I did. I think a cOrb or blOrb would do the trick.

I just got my water setup last week so I've got to expoit it by cooling everything I can with water.:D Hopefully Best Buy will have the card in on Saturday. I got a rain check for the sale price if not though.:D

I bought it today. I'm able to run it @ 290/290 with stock cooling. I cant wait to get my gpu block. I also noticed the ram chips are alot smaller than the 8500 64mb. I scored10,374 with 3Dmark 2001se. I sold my 8500 64 for $150 so this upgrade only costed $50.:D

if u have poor cooling on ur card will that cause particles when u overclock?

In a word, Yes. Heat can cause arctifacts such as a "snow" effect and also funny colors on textures or the entire screen.
