Radeon 8500 Product Demo Problems

I recently tryed to run some of the Product demos available on ATI's Developer Website, and they are not running, the ran for me a few weeks ago but now the dont. I get this message in the error log:

[N:\1Sushi\RunTime\WinD3D\AwFn.cpp] (line 386): D3DAw Error: AwInitWindow - Unable to find an acceptable depth/stencil format
[N:\1Sushi\RunTime\Main.cpp] (line 431): AwInitWindow returned FALSE! Unable to create window! Quitting!

Any ideas on how i could fix this?

You know I got half life with my new 8500 and taht is the crappiest proggie ever. I even got a WHITE screen of death!

What are you talking about???? Half Life is one of the best games out there!!! but the demo is short and lame. The other day the demos started working again, and im not sure what it was that i did.

its fun but you cant say its not buggy. with all the updates in the world i think it will still have glitches.
