Radeon 8500 Temp Sensor??

Does anyone know if there is a temperature sensor on the Radeon 8500? Or do I have to buy some external something?

I don't beleive they do, but a temp sensor on the back of the video card seems to work for some...

so... is the temp on the back of the card, let's say in the exact spot where the gpu is but on the back, pretty precise?

Within reason, it's a good gauge of when it's hot and when it's not... probably close to being within 10C of the core temp like the cpu sensors that are onboard motherboards (which, essentially, use the same type of temperature reading method).
