Radion 9700 Pro

I just got my new Radion 9700 pro today (replacing my GeeForce FX 5200) and u would think that i would be pretty happy reciving my $230 card, but NO! i pluged it in and turned on the computer and it started to load and it lookied like a steady strand of DNA on my monitor! im so mad right now that i cant even see straight my friend Zerelious is going to come over tommorow and see what the problem is (i hope that its nothing big). so i then procieded to put my old card back in and now were hear stuck

So the question is what do u guys think that the problem is? i would be open to any sigestions.

P.S. i also got my new anteck sonata today and i love it!

uninstall the fx drivers and also run nasty file remover to kill all those horrible nvidia drivers

Sounds like your card artifacts. If getting rid of the old nVidia drivers doesn't work, you should RMA your card and get another.

No company can make 100% of their cards perfect. It happens.
