RAID help plz

I finaly got to the install part of windows, but it says the install iwll take 39min!!!! is that right? if i remember right it only took like 25 min in non raid....????

someone help... install finished and windows feels slllow, even with nothing on it. stripe is 16K

What was put into RAID? Are you sure you have the correct drivers for adapter? The first array I set up had the wrong drivers installed with it and it laaaagged.

check sig for drives in raid (the 120 gigs) and yes the drivers came from the mobo cd.

Have you done any bechmarks? Is it an Intel driver, if so check Intels site for an update maybe.

no benches yet, still installing software, hopefully have some screenshots tomorrow

ok can't post pics right now, but for hd tach seek was 14.1 and average read was 56mb/s.... something is so wrong.

Well, 39 minutes really isn't off the norm to kick a complete install of XP once youre into setup. It varies everytime I install XP.

To start with if you feel your sys performance is dragging, get the latest drivers.
