raid o quetions

i want to set up a raid o array using 2 160 gig hard drives. can these be partitioned so i can use different partitions for storing different types of data?

Yeah, they can. Once the RAID 0 array is set up, it acts just like a normal hard drive.

Windows XP Disk Part. does an excellent job before installing the OS to do all the partitioning you require or you can just create one partition then add more after installing using Windows XP Disk Management. There really is no need to purchase more software that the Windows XP Pro SP1 install CD can already do, it just raises the cost.
