I'm having problems with my raid. I haven't been able to move files over to it for some time. I can read all the files I want but anytime I move files to it it just locks up my whole comp. Tried everything and don't knwo what to do. So what I'm wondering is if there is some way for me to Un-raid my two 120gig drives and keep the information on them. I have about 70 gigs of freespace on them. Is there a program or something that will let spread out the files and un-raid my drives or do I flat out have to format them and all that bs?

There's no way to use Partition Magic or any other disk tool to separate part od an array that I've ever heard of. The problem is that the array structure is configured and run by the controller and there's no way to segregate part of one or both drives. Unfortunately, you'll need to backup and then reformat, etc etc.
