RAM brand question

hey,

About 2 years ago, there was a brand called "Micron Electronics". And it was the most expansive RAM.( I saw that everywhere on pricewatch.com at that time)

And now, there is no "Micron Electronics", but "Micron Technology", so basicly how the name was changed?

as far as i know, Micron is Micron, same company

Do you know that "Micron Electronics"?

I saw with my own eyes on pricewatch.com after a friend of mine told me that's the "best RAM" 2 years ago. And I did see it was the most expansive RAM.

I didn't know much computer stuff back then, I still think that friend knew much more computer stuff back then compare to me right now.

Why did they change from "Micron Electronics" to "Micron Technology"?
