need help to set my ram timings

what i want to set to

4-4-4-12 at 2.2v - default

running; Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)

mobo ; abit ip35 pro

cpu ; e8400

i looked in my bios under advanced chipsets but i had no idea what to change. help me out.

If your goal is to only set the four primary timings to 4-4-4-12, then you would need to change the following...
Code:
DRAM TIMING SELECTABLE - MANUAL
CAS LATENCY TIME (TCL) - 4
RAS# TO CAS# DELAY (TRCD) - 4
RAS# PRECHARGE (TRP) - 4
PRECHARGE DELAY (TRAS) - 12
... and to set the DDR2 Voltage to 2.2V, you would need to change the following:
Code:
DDR2 VOLTAGE - 2.2V
DDR2 REFERENCE VOLTAGE - 0%

thanks man thats awesome

does that seem like normal timings? i just dont wanna **** anything up. :)

Those timings and Vdimm are perfectly normal, and nothing to worry about. They're rated at 4-4-4-12 and 2.2V, although you may be able to get by with a lower voltage like 2.0-2.1V for example. You could try lowering the voltage to 2.1, then run Memtest86+ to check for errors. If Memtest passes at 2.1V, then try lowering it even more to 2.0-2.05V or somewhere in that neighborhood..
