just got some new ram brought off the forums

some nice corsair 2x256 pc3700
and i have an abit nf7-s and my pc is having sads with the ram ??

it wont boot up with the ram in thier BUT if i have the 2x256 of corsair and my old ddr 400 stick its fine ???

what could be causing this and how can i fix it ???

what does "having sads" mean?

As far as the ram goes... I can't see why it wouldn't work.. although if you read the Nf7 manual, it says it only accepts DDR400 ram in 2 slots - slot 2 and 3. Slots 1 and 2 or 1 and 3 or 1, 2 and 3 accept only slower speed ram according to the manual.

Perhaps double check you have your faster ram in and 2nd and 3rd dimm slots. (furthest from the CPU)

yeh thats where my ram is now and i have got it running with just the 2 corsair sticks in thier but it still messes about sometimes when it restarts

having sads means messing around or ****ing up so its not working
