SOLVED ram upgrade question for old dell laptop

so im supposed to upgrade my friends laptop, its dell inspiron 2650, model pp04l

i can't find a link to the laptop with full specs however i found this
what im wondering is if i remove the 2 rams and install install 1x 512MB PC-2700 333MHz DDR instead or 1x 1GB PC-3200 400MHz DDR...will it work? if so will it run at 333/400mhz?

if anyone can get me a link to the full specs on the dell site it would be awesome!

ok thank you, but im still not sure if i install one of those ram it'll work, i mean is it like desktop? like if board supports 1333mhz and you install 1600, it still works?

the maximum ram for a dell inspiron 2650 is 512MB ...it can't handle anymore

i know, im just wondering if i put 333 or 400mhz will it work, same voltages and stuff? and if i leave one slot empty
