I have a 7 yrs old PC Ryzen Threadripper 150X and 8x8GB of DDR4 ram. The PC sometimes randomly restart when playing games or when I am doing long video rendering. In general when browsing the net it doesn't restart only that happens while doing any type copy and transfer large file will cause it to restart the system. I had try stress test the CPU/GPU and are OK. I had long suspected the ddr4 ram is the causes. So, I finally downloaded memtest86 and ran the ram test and it found so many errors and the program stop running. I am thinking, no way in all 8 ram stick are bad? Do I have to remove 7 stick and test 1 ram at a time?

I'm going to guess you can test two sticks at a time because you have two banks of four slots. Read your manual to find out which slot to use with a single stick in each bank.

You can also set SPD frequency, so probably 2133, 2400, or 2666, and check if it passes memtest. If not then check each stick separately. 3200 is probably not guaranteed with all 8 sticks and may cause problems for the memory controller. Still the first thing is to check if all sticks are problem-free.

Ok. I will try to run 2 stick test as soon as I can and will report back. Thanks all for your advice. On this screen shot. I should be using dim 2C & dim 2A ?

Hopefully under warranty! (I know g.skill is lifetime)
Honestly, I don't really care about the lifetime warranty on this ddr4 3200mhz. This is my 3rd desktop PC in my house and it is out dated any way.
