i'm most interested in finding out if anyone is using the custom plate and what they did to it.

soon to be hooked up:

pump: mag 5 - 500 gph @ 0' head
plate: #5
further restrictions: maze 4 gpu, high flow single pass heatercore
satisfied?: N/A

why i'm not using plate #:
1 - havent tried it
2 - "
3 - "
4 - "
5 - N/A

If you haven't ordered the mag 5 yet, I would get Mag 3 instead. It dumps less heat into the system and has better performance over 6' of head.

thanks. yeah i read that about the heat not long after i bought it. i'm not worried
