really low 3dmarks?

I just bought an Albatron 4200P Turbo. Great card, but I can’t even break 7000 3dMarks, and I have a Thunderbird at 1.4gigs. The only horrible part of my system is the ECS K7AMA mobo, but it didn’t slow down the MX400 that much. Isn’t that way too low, even for my mobo? Any suggestions or explanations? BTW, running 40.xx detonators and DX8.1. Thanx
