a while back i got a Xp1600 and i had a crappy heatsink and replaced it with a MCXC-370 and would not clock to 133mhzfsb after i installed the heatsink (unknown reason, not heat stayed in 38C) then i brunt it out (messy job with the ASII) ....now i bought an XP1800 and i STILL can't clock to 133fsb STABLE.....i can run into windows but when i do something that puts the CPU in alot of stress it just freezes..at 140fsb i past the post screen but it stays in a black screen after.....

i tried swapping everything such as PSU, memory, CPU, but i havent tried harddrive....do you guys think harddrive may be the issue? or is it the motherboard...

im at 130mhz fsb with TURBO and cas 2..... i tried putting everythign back to default and run 133 still no work

Mine's a totally different clocked Intel system but the TNT2 was holding me back. After I got a GF2-MX I could run stable at 133Mhz FSB all of a sudden! So try another AGP card if you can.

hmmmm maybe since i used to have a radeon 7200 and ran stable 145fsb......hmmmmmm then i sold it and used my old tnt2 at about the same time

TURBO? Whats that?
Try RAM at Cas3.

What chipset is the board?
