reboot at7 max2 sets bios to default clockspeeds?

all of a sudden when i reboot my machine the cpu speeds go to default. but everything in bios is still the same setting (set to manual 12.5x200).but i hit f10 to save and exit and system boots at 2500mhz like normal. then i exit windows and reboot default clock speeds again? everytime i reboot i have to go to bios and do the f10 thing.

what would cause this? i was thinking maybe the batterie on the board could be bad. does this sound correct?

any help would be greatfull!
