I read up on the chipset a little on www.tomshardware.com. It is going to support dual channel drr400. Overclockability will depend on shuttle. but it sounds like from what I read that the fsb, memory, and agp clocks are independant. nvidia clames the video clock is safe at 165mhz. and the overclockability of the cpu should be big too. Lets hope that shuttle includes those options!

You all want some info on the nForce do yea? heh...

I know this doesnt concern the Shuttle alone, but Ive been following this for some time now.
Heres a few links for yea.





Theres alot with these boards thats very questionable due to whats been seen and whats been heard. If you look through all those I posted there, you will see that there are 2 boards that have onboard RAID. and a few others that seem to have an extra IDE slot, which I havent figured out as of yet.

Yes you can OC your IGP.

By my understanding from whats been said so far, the DualDDR seems to only show its best efforts when using the IGP and not an actual Video card. Which, kinda has me confused as to why if this is true, this is also on the nForce2 boards that dont have IGP?

Again, by my understanding, the fsb and PCI/AGP Bus will be seperate on at least a couple of these boards so the OC'ing capabilites should be utterly outstanding.

Another thing of note with this nForce2 boards here. These boards are being made to support 333 where as AMD has no stated they have no plans of going in this direction.

There is alot going around here about these boards. Some, very promising, some things, kinda make you wonder.

I, for one, think if they do this right. They will have a deffinate winner on their hands.
