Recommendations for Ubuntu FAH version….

Hi all. I recently updated to the 8.3.18 client version on Ubuntu but it’s seems to be giving me a lot of errors and stopping WUs, which is a problem as my pc is left alone for long periods. Was hoping for a recommended version to roll back to? Cheers

We're still using v7 in Linux. I know there is a broken project that's only hitting our Linux clients and if they get enough of them in a row, they go into failed status. We think @KeeperOfTheButch s Linux machines in FL are down due to it right now. I had one of mine in failed status yesterday and one of his up here failed on a few but got a good wu before it went into failed status.
It's an 18xxx project, not at home to look at it right now
Is this what's happening to yours?

My machine was working on a 16xxx project and got stuck on some time error for hours. But that’s just the latest in a series of failed WU or hangs for various reasons. The new version just doesn’t seem as stable as v7.

This is a huge problem. I wonder if this is something that will pass as other problems have or if we all have to switch to windows. Id rather not due to the advantages of Linux and its a bunch of work.

Project: 16525 (Run 111, Clone 2, Gen 131) might not be related but this wu crashed on me 3x yesterday, hit 80% then reloaded to last checkpoint then crashed again at 80, I let it run 1 more time and then just abandoned the wu. that was 12 hours of lost time.

18236 took a couple of our cards out. So many errors i didn't dig threw everything. Just wanted it back up and running.

Yeah, we've had a few failures on the Linux boxes up here in WI today. Looked to be mostly 1823x.
