Remote Connections

Hey,
I wanted to kno how can i remotly control a other computer on the net i have tryed VNC its sorta like Pc anywere i get a full disply of the destop and do what ever but i wanted to kno what do you all recamend ? if you can post it here that would be great also the Version and were i can get it would also be Super = )~

im loking for someting Like PCanywere but more simple and i dont want just a cmd screen =p and IF SOME 1 SAYS TELNET I WILL KILL THE!!!! nothing personal to every 1 that does use it =p

If you have 2000 server you can use terminal services. If you have XP you can use Desktop Connection. Which is just terminal services.

I use a program called NetSupport. I use it to control 300 computers in 5 counties. It's expensive, but worth it.

Does it give you a Visual or cmd ? and were can iget NetSuport well at lest a Demo to try out ? =p

I have used VNC but find it too slow over dialup or even poor DSL/cable service.

I tried Radmin, which is a more mature product than VNC. The biggest advantages over VNC was the fact that it was about 10x faster over poor connections it also encrypts the datastream, negating the need for using SSH or the like to log in.

Anyone else want to chime in?

I too am looking for a cheaper remote GUI adminstration tool

i'm wondering too.

currently thinking of some easy way to access/control/checkup all my rigs over my network.... am thinking of remote desktop from WinXP. but would like to know some other (better?) option too...

well now im Using PcAnyWhere vs10
its pretty good but it sorta lags i guess since my computers are not in a local network... =( and i conenct on the net then to the computer =) but its realy easy to set up and you get a FULL desk top VIEW of all other computers and theres a nice File Transfer option in there witch i like and find VERY handdy =)

And it's a graphical interface, just like PCAnywhere it puts the display of the remote computer on the monitor that you are sitting infront of and utilizes your mouse and keyboard.
