Removing heatsinks on evga 680i?

Is it worth it to remove the heatsinks on this mobo and put on the as5? I did it on my p5w dh... thanks!
 
It should help.. but weather or not these motherboards will benifit from aftermarket NB an SB heatsinks will sort of be up to the first that bite on it, and you happen to be one of them ;)
 
well replacing the cheap paste with something better like as-c/as5 is always an improvement but may not help your oc at all. worst case your max unstable oc becomes stable after replacing the cheap paste. just be carefull when removing the hs/heatpipe system on the board.
