I woldlike to know if its safe to replace the MSI 1080 Armor OC Bios to Gaming X or Gaming Z Bios. Thanks!

First question that comes to mind is why? Why risk bricking it, when you can just Oc it?

Armor, Gaming, Gaming X and Gaming Z is the same PCB, the same card, just have a different bios and cooling system but some applications its only for Gaming series

I don't see what the Gaming app gives you over Afterburner....

I dont see why not... but it is a risk. I would rather create a profile in MSI AB and have it startup and apply it.. but, you can try it...

It gives you less... its three buttons/OC choices. There isn't fine control IIRC...
