I want to find out what variable resistor or potentiometer I would need if I need a 1/4 watt 5kohm resistor. I want to be able to adjust the resistence rather then solder and resolder different resistors on. I'm not all that good at electrical stuff so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I guess you need a 2-10kohm potentiometer . (They can take more than 1/4watts)
i hope you know what you are doing to that mobo.

Hey XR,
I got a 0-10Kohm trimmer and it is working great I have the vcore at 2 volts and I'm at 1272 now, just gonna gradually try raising everything one step at a time. I want a kt133A board anyway so if I fry this one it just gives me a reason to get it sooner. Thanks for the help.

Gotta love it. Soldering irons, trimmers, motherboards and overclocking go together. It's called getting serious! Congrats on the mod.
