The new HI-MDs by sony/sharp..those players could last about 40 hr per charge using those gumstick batteries. Yea but you can't really compare minidisc with HD players..the most I've seen on HD based player on battery life is prob 30 hrs, the iAUDIO M3L.

Btw nice found on the carbon..I might tell my friend about this..he's getting a DAP soon.

btw hi-mds can only hold 1 gb per disc..and those discs are expensive..like $10 disc..

if you do the math..20 disc = ~$200 for 20gb..lol..but good thing about you don't ahve to worrying dropping them.
