it also scares me that it only has the timings 9-11-11 most memory has 4 doesn't it? like 11-11-11-30? please someone help me

I purchased these about a week ago. I'm still waiting for Newegg to ship them. I can't really offer any help atm but take some comfort in the fact that there is someone else in the boat with ya! :D

I would also be very interested in hearing someone's opinion or experience with this memory.
There isn't a whole lot of information about them out there.

haha thanks man, i know it seems like theyre the perfect memory, so i was wondering why there were like no reviews anywhere for them,

Although G.Skill doesn't list it in their timing spec's for those modules, tRAS is probably either 24 or 25 (9-11-11-24 / 25) w/ Command Rate at 2T / 2N.

I tried comparing your newegg listing with the mfg site and found this:
http://www.gskill.com/products.php?index=502&c1=1&c2=3

if this is the same, the full spec is listed as:

*G.Skill guarantees 2 Dimms dual channel operation would reach announced specification.

These specs seem confusing this the ref to both 2133 and the SPD 1333. But I am just getting into this so I am listening too.

How this helps.

I also noticed the list of qualified motherboards di not list your asus p8z77 ws, unless I am missing something.

^it's because there is no Z77 board on the market yet.
No worries! It will work!

BTW, I think tRas is 30, as it is often the case with 2133MHz CL9 GSkill modules...

everyones going to call me an dumbass(im even calling myself a dumbass) but i got them today only problem no mobo to test them on, couldn't find this memory anywhere else, so i thought maybe newegg was going to take them down soon too, its happened to me before, but they look pretty nice and you get a g skill sticker with it too a nice one like an intel or amd one

I get it. The 15 or 30 day return window leaves little room for full systems check if your just getting setup. Keep your eye on the objective, a working system and fun building it. Well you can at least begin testing...Hold them up one at a time using your thumb and forefingers grasping each end so your looking at the side. Keeping the gold connectors down, bring the top notched cooling fins near your mouth and blow. If air comes out the other side, they pass the first air flow compliance test...:sn:

This kit looks like it consists of two of the sticks from the review we published today. They probably have the fourth timing listed on the sticker on the RAM and it is likely 31. You'll also want to set the secondary timings per SPD. Check out the review when you have a chance, the capabilities are probably very similar if not identical.

Excellent very timely review. Very helpful. Since testing was done "(with G.Skill’s blessing) on an X79 system in quad channel." are you expecting G.Skill to add the same ASUS X79 you used to their approved list for this RAM?

You seem to make a point about the relatively low heat generation of this RAM as well. Would you expect the same air cooled temperature profile with two kits totaling 64Gb?

I wouldn't stress which board is on the approved list. Within reason, most boards will run most ram because the IMC is on the CPU. Running all eight dimm slots will be a different story. That is more stressful on the IMC and it may be difficult to get this kind of speed stable.

As far as heat, just have decent airflow and you'll be fine.

I finally got these in from newegg. I'm running two sticks at 2133 no problem on the GB-Z68-UD3h-B3. They gave me a pretty good performance boost (Geekbench) from 1333 to 2133 once I successfully got them overclocked ;)
