I just recently (yesterday afternoon, yar!) got into actual application of all the videocard OC knowledge I've picked up here. I downloaded rivatuner and as you can see from my sig, got some pretty sweet clocks on my card, much higher than the goal I set. I then looked around and read about some of the more in-depth functions of riva and didn't find too much that I felt comfortable mucking around with or were of interest.
I did see a setting that caught my eye though. Now bear with me as I'm in a comp lab on campus so I don't recall the exact name of the setting. It was something along the lines of 'PCI system memory' that you could attatch a value in MB to. From what I understand it seems to set aside system memory for the card's own use, much like integrated graphics or lower-end cards.
My question is since I have 4gb of memory and when I'm playing games I generally don't have much in the background taking any of that memory up, would it be beneficial to give it a value of mabye 256/512/1024? Or since my card has a fairly significant amount (512) already for the resolution that I use (1440X900) does it not really matter?
