My Amd Xp 2000+ got fried even though I wasn't even overclocking my heatsink failed I was wondering if Newegg would accept my RMA even though it is oem?

normally OEM have a 1 year warranty, so don't worry..send it back!!!
haha, when i fried my 1700+ retail, amd sent me back a new retail box....and when i was picking it up at the computer shop, i asks the owner can i pay the differences between a 1700+ and a 1800+, and get the 1800+ instead...he said yes, so here i am, paid $12 to upgrade to a 1800+, with a fresh 3 yrs warranty

Newegg has a 30 day warranty on OEM CPU's. I'd get it RMA'ed quick.
