normally OEM have a 1 year warranty, so don't worry..send it back!!!:D
haha, when i fried my 1700+ retail, amd sent me back a new retail box....and when i was picking it up at the computer shop, i asks the owner can i pay the differences between a 1700+ and a 1800+, and get the 1800+ instead...he said yes, so here i am, paid $12 to upgrade to a 1800+, with a fresh 3 yrs warranty:D
