Router and Adapter Different Brands?

Setting up a network at my new place with my roommate and he just needs to get an adapter. Does it have to be Netgear to work or would any brand do?

Any brand will work, I have had trouble mixing some brands before, but just make sure to use windows wireless utility and everything should be fine.

Oh the Wireless Zero Config ok. Out of curiosity what happened to the "super rig"? lol
