Both the RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 will have 16GB of memory. The new cards use RDNA 4 compute units, which are up to 40% faster than RDNA 3 used in the 7000-series and offer double the raytracing throughput per compute unit thanks to third generation raytracing accelerators. For those concerned about power, the 9070 XT will have

I've seen talk here and there at OCF about these cards, but didn't see a thread where we can toss all the rumors and information in.. If I missed it, LMK and I'll combine the threads. :) That said, here's the latest rumor about the release date....sourced from MLID's latest video/guess on it...

Yeah, but... isn't that for like ALL the cards? And didn't it start as a rumors thread back in October 2024? I made this thread specifically for the 9070 XT and XTX.

From initial reviews, the 9070 is comparable to the GRE and the 5070 in raster performance. It is overpriced by $100 IMO. This should be a sub $500 card. Well, unlike NVidia, it is in stock and the power cable isn't melting.

TPU shows relative performance of the 9070 close to the 7900XT and the 9070XT close to the 7900XTX. In both cases with better RT.

@rainless I have read posts by you talking about using a lot of software that uses the cuda cores in your current card. AMD doesn't have cuda support, FYI. You would be very unhappy with its performance outside of gaming.
