Just bought a powercolor x800 pro VIVO and, like many here, I'm waiting for the vga silencer rev 4 for cooling. By the time I want to know what safe temps I can run this thing at!

Thanks!

All I know is this card can not go over 85-86c. The lowest temp you can go the better. With best air cooling can drop temp down about low 70c.

Damn I'm close to the "Damn its fricken going to burn up" stage. Mine runs 77-80C on the stock cooler.

I volt modded my x800 on stock cooling, only up to 1.5v and it would run 85c under full load without a glitch. I wouldnt want to go much higher than that though.

I put a cpu heatsink on it and it dropped the load temp to 52c and 39c idle. And I got 20mhz more on the core!! Woohooo!!
