can i sand the L1's on my XP (i tried to unlock it and there looking not perfect so i though maybe 600 or 1500 grit sand paper to sand it a very little then taking a piece of ware and using some adhesive on each bridge.

good idea or bad?

I think he's trying to sand the connection points of the bridges to make a better connection, right?

If so, don't use sandpaper. Just take a pin and scratch them up a bit.

ok when i scrats them with a pin should they change to a slightly different colour one of my briges turned a dull colour

Be VERY carefull with anything that could go through the surface and expose the copper underneath. I scratched next to one of the L1's and was barely pressing with a sewing needle.
You could BARELY see the scratch with a high power magnifying glass but I found it with a multimeter that has a needle like point, lightly dragging it over the surface you could "feel" it go into the scratch and then zero resistance to the ground dot.
Then I had to fill the scratch with superglue and then silver conductive pen etc....
