SATA WD Caviar Blue 320 gig hard drive
Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L MB

New Build
The bios does not see the Sata hard drive. I have tried different SATA slots and its always the same. The bios shows the SATA DVD and shows "none" for drives in the other empty slots. In the slot the hard drive is in it always shows a blank space for what is supoose to be there. The drive spins up at boot and the drive light flashes. It appears to be hooked up correctly. The Win7 x64 install does not try to partition the hard drive and skips to installing the program. I get the the spinning color dots that turn into the MS flag and then a real nice picture of some kind and then it stops. The hard drive flashes every second but thats it.

Oh Heck... never mind... I got hold of another SATA drive and it works so I guess my new one is defective.
