Ok, so we have SATA, SATA150, SATA 3GB's and now E-SATA?

So the question is... with a mobo that supports SATA 3GB's frun an HD that has a SATA150 interface?

Yes. SATA/300 is backwards compatible with SATA/150 and vice versa. Though, if you want the SATA/300 Drive to run on the SATA/150 Channel, you have to change a jumper setting on the drive.
