SB Audidgy 2 ZS Mic Problem...

I recently reformated and installed all my drivers and such....
and went to get my mic working and i dont get any respone on the mic unless i like stick it right on my mouth or yell..
The volume is all the way up and last time this happened i just disabled onboard audio in the bios...but i did all that and now i still get nothing...

In the audio section did you enable the 20Db Mic Boost in the advanced Mic Section?

i just switched pci slots and now it works fine
