SB Live Value Problem

I can't get the game port to work with any joystick.
I've tried everything I have, and it always says not connected in the XP game controllers panel.

Tried the newest drivers from creative, no go

Is the game port listed in "Device Manager"? If not, make sure it is enabled in the BIOS.
If the game port shows as installed and working in Device Manager, the problem may be the game controller you're trying to install.
What controller and what operating system are you running?

Repo man: Yeah, it shows up in the device manager, and the SBLive isn't integrated, so I can't enable/disable in the bios

whereismy386: They joysticks all work, I even tried it with my usb gamepad without an adaptor and it would still say "not connected"
