SB live value question

As stated i have a sould blaster live value with digital out...

how do i get this to work. if i hook speakers up to it i get no sound from the digital out... do i need special speakers or someting????

If you are running your speakers off of the digital out go into the audio hq, select speakers, and then select the digital output only. This should solve your problem I had a problem like this before when I just got my digital boston acoustic speakers.

Yes you would have to have digital speakers to use the digital out on that card I have the same card but it will only use up to a 4.1 speaker set its not made for 5.1
