hey all, i setup my computer this morning, and didnt order anything, but i got this weird letter in the mailbox from [email protected] saying this

Dear Customer,

Thank you for ordering from our internet shop. If you paid with a credit card, the charge on your statement will be from name of our shop.

This email is to confirm the receipt of your order. Please do not reply as this email was sent from our automated confirmation system.

the weird thing is i dont have an amazon account, and i dont even live in the usa...is this a scam?
 
Don't ever open an attachement when you are not 100% sure of the sender, and maybe not even then. Phishers are getting a lot more sophisticated, and you can get screwed really quickly. Just follow the common sense rules you see around here, and you can avoid a lot of crap.
