I just upgraded my board and memory but my score seems extremely low to me. Check my sig box 2, everything is stock speeds. I just ran 3dmark01 and got 14000. then i ran 03 and only got 5200. i got the same score in 03 with my old hardware. Plus when i run 03 it looks horrible, it is all choppy and laggy, but i get a good score. Can someone explain this to me and how can i fix it?

I am on a fresh install of windows 2000 and have not yet got any updates because i am on dailup. Will this have anything at all to do with my scores?

To ensure a high score, make sure all video card settings are off. Mainly AA and AF. Also, check your device manager to see if any hardware isn't installed( IE: SM Bus Controller ).

Another big impact on scores are the drivers that you use. Most of the top ppl use a certain driver and it has yielded them high scores. Just check over at the OC3DMark Team Website.

Drivers, drivers, drivers......

Make sure all of them are installed correctly. ie MB and Video

What "Board" did you upgrade?

As you sem to have some Nvidia and ATI hardware bouncing around, I can tell you that if you did not run a driver cleaner prior to the 9800 install.....and that box had the Ti4200 in it, you have driver problems.

Get "Driver Cleaner", run it as instructed, then try again.

this is box 2(the one i built) in my sig.
i am off of a fresh install of windows 2000 pro. So all the drivers are good and have a clean install.
