Screwed up msi gf4 ti4600

I have been having some problems with my msi ti4600 lately. THe other day i was organizing my ide cables and notices that half of the heatsink was hanging off my vid card. I took it out and inspected the card and then put the hs clip back in. I booted back up and everything went fine but when i went into 3dmark i got a score of 8500 when my usual score is around 12-13k. I emailed msi for a rma and i am waiting for a resonce. Anyone think of anything else i could try before i send it out to be rma's?
