Seagate 1TB Question

Does anyone have any idea what the difference between Seagates ST31000340AS http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148274

and Seagates ES.2 ST31000340NS http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148278

I ask this because i wanted to order up 2 of seagates 1tb drives tonight, and place them into raid 1 when they got here.

Another question is, since it is pretty new and huge, will it still be compatible with my 680i SLI motherboard? Thanks alot guys

The NS is an enterprise drive. It would be better if you need to have them running for very long periods of time. Several days or months or even years. It should also use less power. Not worth it IMO unless you need to have the data constantly available for some reason.
