can anybody tell me how to do this, and what selant is right to use?
 
use neoprene & dialectric grease, once your block goes below ambient condensation will form. If your going below for long periods be sure to do your chip, pins & mobo too. I've had to lag my pipes too as they drop with condensation else
 
Also protect the inside of and around the socket with conformal silicone sealant. OCTOOLS.com sells a kit, and has info on using.
