my friend has a website, but how does he add it in so that it will show up in google searches etc?

hmm i thought it would b a straight forward thing on the google page or whatever.

google has no submission system.

google uses a referrer/ranking system. (however they've been tweaking it so the following is iffy anymore)

the site must be linked to by -other- sites. a site that ranks higher on the google listing linking to his helps more than one thats lower on the list.

even then, you have to wait for the company to requery everything

thus all you can hope is that the site is good enough to be linked to

do a search for my "bachelor cookbook" (without the quotes) and one of my sites is number 6, only because people have linked to it. (a search of my username also returns it as number 2)
