I have a enermax 300 watt power suppy with 2 fans on it. One fan is for the power suppy cooling and the other fan is for extra cooling. My question is the second fan has a plug so you can plug it into your motherboard, Well I plugged it into my motherboard witch is a soyo dragon plus motherboard and it dosen't work. If I Plug a different fan in it works, Anyone know why my fan dosen't work ? Also my power suppy has two black wire's with a resister on the end of it I think, anyone know what that is for..

Thx Gene

I agree. That fan wire won't power your fan, it is just for monitoring. If the second fan isn't on, my guess it is designed to only come on when a heat sensor tells it to.

enermax temp fans

I used a 3 to 4 pin adapter and the fan came to life. Others have suggested that not plugging it in at all makes it work. Try either of these suggestions, or you could cut the little black resistor off and reconnect the two wires to force the fan to go full speed.

Tried Everything

Well I Tried everything I still can't get that second fan to work..
