SETI Is Slower As It Progresses

It seems that in the begining of a new w/u, the progress is quick to build %'s and as it continues it get's slower.
Does anybody notice this, and is it normal or just me?

I think it's normal. There are other times during processing when the mflops start going nuts and then calm down again. About the last 10% seem to be pretty quick too.

Sometimes looking at a new WU cranking at 600+ mflops and a sub 2 hour completion estimate can really get you going.
